This beautiful French Book called Petit Paroissien is a miniature Catholic Prayer book. It features a full leather binding with elaborate embossed detail in gilt to the boards and spine. The boards are cushioned which makes this book particularly lovely to handle. All edges gilt.

It's in very good condition with light wear to the corners and spine ends. The book shows a slight backwards lean and one page segment is very slightly loose which makes it stick out from the edge of the text block.
Inside, there are gilt inner dentelles and prettily patterned endpapers. The pages show light age toning and occasional minor marking. The binding thread can be seen pulling at the gutter in places.
Dimensions approximately 8.3cm x 5.3cm x 1.2cm. The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
