This lovely and scarce First US Edition of Winnie the Pooh by AA Milne was published by E P Dutton in 1926. The book is bound in original publisher's cloth with gilt to the front board. Sadly the book no longer has it's dust jacket.
The book is in good condition with the most noticeable flaw being the darkening to the spine and loss of the gilt (it can only be seen if you look very closely!). The spine edges are lightly rubbed and crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting in the cloth. There is light wear and bumping to the corners and a small chip to the surface of the cloth covering the back board. There is a small mark to the front board.
Inside, there is a name written to the top of the front endpaper and another to the reverse of the FFEP. There is a bookseller's sticker to the bottom of the back pastedown. The pages show light age toning and occasional marking, with some sporadic foxing - most noticeable to the preliminary pages and back endpaper. They're remarkably clean and bright for their age though and in good, antique condition. There are black and white illustrations by Ernest H Shepard.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon. Due to the value of the book, it'll be sent with full tracking with a courier.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
