This beautiful antique missal book is called Petit Paroissien features a stunning, deep green velvet binding and an ornate metal clasp with four cherub faces at the corners. All edges are gilt.
It's in near fine condition, with just some minor scuffs to the gilt edges and wear to the spine ends. Inside, there is an illuminated title page and the pages show significant foxing throughout. There are a handful of black and white plates and two tiny lace cards tucked inside.
Dimensions approximately 9.2cm x 6.5cm x 2cm. The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
