This stunning little edition of The New Testament was printed and published by Bourne of Harlesden Ltd. The book is undated but after some research, I have discovered that these miniature books were published in 1960. It features the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. There are 224 pages in total, and they are encased in a brass container. The front is made of plastic designed to look like mother-of-pearl with a relief of a cross. There is a brass clasp and a loop on the top for suspension.
It's showing it's age, with tarnishing to the brass and plastic. A small label has been removed from the back leaving some paper behind.
Sadly the text block is torn from the back page which means it's now detached. There is tearing and loss to the back page. There is also bumping to the edges of the first few pages.
The bubble wrap I use is either oxo-degradable or 100% recyclable; the jiffy bags are recyclable. Where possible, I use 100% recyclable paper tape, but sometimes I have to use clear plastic tape for extra strength.
