This stunning little antique edition of A Little Book of Courtesies by Katherine Tynan was published by JM Dent and Sons. The book is undated, but it's early 20th Century. There is a inscription written inside dated 1907.
The book is bound in burgundy cloth with gilt decoration blind stamped to the front board and spine. It's in very good condition with only light wear and crushing to the corners. The boards show minor marks and discolouration and there is rubbing to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a stain to the bottom of the front pastedown and a penned inscription to the front free endpaper. The pages are clean and bright with light age toning.
Dimensions approximately 15.7cm x 11.5cm x 0.9cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-fuldegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
