This striking French edition of La Religieuse by Denis Diderot was published in Paris. It features a full leather binding with unusual floral embossing to the boards. The spine features four raised bands and gilt lettering.
It's in very good condition with just minor marks and scuffs to the leather and fading to the spine. There is rubbing to the extremities.
Inside, there is tanning around the edges of the endpapers but the rest of the pages show lighter age toning. There are no inscriptions.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string. The bubble wrap I use is 100% biodegradable and the jiffy bags are recyclable.
