This stunning large softcover book was published by Her Majesty's Stationers in 1969. It tracks the progress of women's fashion through the 19th Century and is a wonderful piece of social history.
It's in good condition but there is foxing to the cover and surface loss to the front (over the lady's stomach and arm) and to the top of the back cover.
Inside, the pages show light age toning and occasional foxing but are otherwise in very good condition with minimal wear.
Dimensions approximately 24.5cm x 14.5cm x 1.5cm.
The book will be hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
