This lovely vintage edition of Selections from the Writings of John Ruskin was published by Andrew Melrose in 1907. The book is bound in original blue cloth with striking gilt decoration to the front board and spine.
It's in good condition but there is minor marking to the boards and faint discolouration to the edge of the front board. The corners are lightly worn and there is sunning to the spine, with light rubbing to the gilt. Crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting in the cloth.
Inside, there are some rubbed out pencil prices on the front free endpaper and a bookseller's sticker in the bottom corner of the front pastedown. The pages show some age toning throughout with occasional foxing.
Dimensions approximately 19.7cm x 14.3cm x 3.7cm.
Each book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
