This beautiful edition of The Works of William Shakespeare was published by Macmillan and Co in 1934. The book is bound in full leather with blind stamped decoration in gilt to the front board and spine. All edges gilt.
The book is in very good condition with just light wear to the corners - the top corner of the front board is bumped. The leather shows minor scuffs and the spine is worn, with loss to the surface of the leather at the spine ends.
Inside, the pages have some light age toning with very occasional foxing.
Dimensions approximately 18cm x 12.5cm x 4cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
