This beautiful, antique edition of The Money Moon by Jeffrey Farnol was published by Sampson Low, Marston and Co. The book itself isn't dated but after some research, I'd estimate it to be from the 1910's. The book is bound in blue grey cloth with stunning gilt and pictorial decoration to the front board and spine. This wonderfully decorative book would make a special addition to anyone's bookcase. It's in good condition but there is marking to the cloth and a long scuff to the back board. There is rubbing to the board edges and spine edges and wear to the corners. The cloth covering the back board shows very slight air bubbling. The spine is sunned and rubbed, with loss to the decoration.
Inside, there are no inscriptions but the endpapers show tanning. There are occasional small tears/chips to the page edges. The pages show light age toning and sporadic foxing throughout but the text remains clear and bright. The book features stunning colour illustration plates by Edmund Blampied which make this an even more lovely book.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string. I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
