This stunning vintage edition of The Giants and How to Fight Them by Rev Richard Newton was published by Thomas Nelson and Sons in 1906. So the book is Edwardian.
The book is bound in blue pictorial cloth. It's a striking binding and in very good condition. The book shows a slight forward lean and there is light wear to the corners. The back board shows a faint scratch mark and there is minor marking to the cloth. There is a little rubbing to the spine and crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a presentation plate glued to the front pastedown and faint staining to the front hinge. There is also slight staining to the top edge of the preliminary pages. The pages are clean and bright with light age toning (most prominent to the margins). There are occasional cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound.
Dimensions approximately 18cm x 12.7cm x 1.9cm.
