This lovely antique edition of Tim's Troubles by M A Paull was published by T Nelson and Son in 1900. So the book is from the very end of the Victorian era. It's bound in brown cloth with decoration of beautiful red roses (that look a bit like poppies) to the front board and spine.
This pretty book is in very good condition but does show a slight forward lean, with rubbing to the corners. The back board has some marks and faint splash stains. There is faint sunning to the spine and crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, the endpapers are tanned and there is slight cracking to the gutter at the title page. The pages show uneven age toning throughout, with sporadic foxing.
Dimensions approximately 19.6cm x 14.4cm x 3.5cm.
All books purchased will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
