This stunning edition of Dulcie King by M Corbet Seymour was published by Blackie and Son; even though the book itself is undated, there is a written inscription dated 1906. So the book is likely to be from the Edwardian era.
The book is bound in red cloth with a beautiful pattern of yellow flowers to the front board and spine. It's in very good condition, with just light wear to the corners and foxing to the text block edges. The spine is lightly sunned and there is crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the half title page. The pages are clean and bright with minimal toning and only occasional foxing.
Dimensions approximately 18.7cm x 13cm x 2.3cm.
All books purchased will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
