This rare No 1 in Treherne's Nature Series of Butterflies and Moths was arranged by W F Kirby (FLS on the Natural History Museum). The softcover book is disbound, meaning the pages are loos but the beautiful colour plates are too beautiful to lose. I'm hoping someone will be able to do something special with them.
There is wear and tear to the outer cover but the plates are in very good condition, with age toning to the paper. There is a name in pen on the first page.
