This lovely little Bridal Greetings book was published in 1894. It's bound in white faux leather with gilt decoration to the front and spine. All edges gilt.
It was used to mark a wedding in 1907, between Curtis Davis and Emma in Ohio. The guests in attendance all signed their name which is a lovely touch.
It's in very good condition with just light rubbing to the corners. There is some old damage and splitting near the bottom of the spine which has been repaired with glue.
Inside, the pages show light age toning but are otherwise clean and bright.
Dimensions approximately 17.8cm x 12.7cm x 1.4cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough.
