This lovely edition of Bee by Anatole France was published in 1942 by JM Dent and Sons. It’s bound in original publisher’s pictorial cream cloth.
It’s in very good condition but there is rubbing and light soiling to the cloth and decoration. The corners are lightly bumped and the book shows a slight forward lean.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the front free endpaper and a contemporary name and date underneath. The pages show light age toning and sporadic foxing but are clean and bright.
The book features stunning illustrations by Charles Robinson - 15 colour plates and numerous black and white illustrations.
128 pages and decorated title page.
The book will be hand wrapped in bubble wrap, wallpaper and string.
