The book itself is undated but these bindings usually date from the early 20th Century (circa 1900-1915). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is half bound in cream vellum with delicate gilt decoration in an art nouveau style to the spine. The boards are bound in pink cloth. It's in very good condition but there is light soiling and marking to the vellum. The cloth shows some marking and it is lifting slightly on the back board. The boards are slightly curved. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there is a presentation plate glued to the front free endpaper which has been partially removed - someone has written in pencil that the name on the presentation plate was written in error. The pages show light age toning throughout; there is foxing to the preliminary and end pages. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 18.9cm x 13cm x 3cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
