The book itself is undated but after some research, I've dated it to the 1880's. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is bound in blue cloth with beautiful blind stamped decoration in black and gilt to the front board. It’s in very good condition but there is wear to the corners and light marking and soiling to the boards. The spine is sunned and discoloured, whilst crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting in the cloth. One page segment is sticking out from the edge of the text block. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, a written inscription on the front pastedown has been scrubbed out leaving surface damage to the paper. There is cracking to the hinges and a penned name on the FFEP. The pages show light age toning and occasional foxing, with some minor handling marks. There are some superficial cracks to the gutter and one page segment has been glued back in. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 19.8cm x 15.2cm x 1.3cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
