The book itself is undated but these bindings usually date from the latter part of the Victorian era (circa 1890).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is bound in green cloth over bevelled boards, with blind stamped decoration in black and gilt to the front board and spine. All edges gilt. It's in very good condition but there is some wear to the corners and bumping to the bottom corners. The board edges are lightly bumped and there is faint scuffing to the cloth. The spine is faintly sunned, whilst crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting in the cloth. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there is slight cracking to the hinges and a pencil scribble to the front free endpaper. The pages show age toning and foxing throughout. There are some beautiful black and white illustration plates. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 18.8cm x 13.3cm x 3.5cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll books purchased will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
