The book itself is undated but there is a written inscription inside dated 1923. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is bound in orange cloth with pretty decoration blind stamped to the front. It's in good condition but has suffered some past water damage which has leached some of the colour from the cloth covering the boards and spine. There is light wear to the corners and spine ends and some dark finger marks to the boards. The spine is faded. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there is slight rippling to the endpapers from the past water damage and a written inscription on the front free endpaper. The pages show light age toning with sporadic foxing and minor age staining in places. There are superficial cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tipped in colour plates by M.E.Gray make this a really wonderful read - the illustrations are just charming and capture the story well. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 24.2cm x 19.2cm x 3.7cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
