He records all sorts of day to day activities - from the mundane (who he had dinner with) to the fascinating (he proposed to Miss R who told me she is a dissenter most opposed to the Church!). This shock declaration would suggest an insurmountable impediment to marriage, although later entries show that he exchanges letters with Miss R. He also notes that on April 29th he \"married his first couple\" and Nov 16th marks his birthday. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book itself is in very good condition, with light fading to the cloth to the front and spine of the book. There is also minor marking to the cloth. Inside, there is a bookseller's sticker in the top corner of the front pastedown and occasional marking to the pages. There is slight splitting to the front hinge. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions16.7cm x 10.6cm x 0.5cm approximately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
