Even though the title page famously claimed it was \u003cstrong class=\"Yjhzub\" data-sfc-root=\"c\" data-sfc-cb=\"\" data-complete=\"true\" data-copy-service-computed-style='font-family: \"Google Sans\", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 0px rgb(10, 10, 10);'\u003e\"Written by a Lady\"\u003c\/strong\u003e it was actuallyan anthology compiled from the religious and moral writings of male divines and edited by George Berkeley. The leather shows scuffing and light marking and the spine is sunned. All edges gilt but the top edge is very dulled. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there are contemporary endpapers and the pages show age toning throughout with occasional marking. There is a label over the Volume One (on the title page) and another to the Contents page (also covering up the vol i). The frontispiece is missing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 17.2cm x 10.5cm x 4cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
