The spine also features a striking sword and shield, with the dove of peace behind. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's in very good condition with the most noticeable flaw being the rubbing to the decoration on the spine. Crushing to the spine ends has caused some splitting in the cloth. There is also some wear to the front and minor marking to the cloth. There is foxing to the text block edges. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there is a presentation plate glued to the front pastedown and an illustration on the front free endpaper. The pages show light age toning and sporadic foxing (most prominent to the preliminary and end pages). The colour plates by Frank C Pape are particularly striking, each with a caption to the bottom of the plate. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
