It's bound in original blue cloth with floral gilt in an art nouveau style to the front and spine. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's in near fine condition, with minor bumping to the corners and a very slight forward lean. Crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting to the cloth at the head of the spine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, the endpapers are tanned and foxed; there is a penned name and date to the top of the front free endpaper. The pages show age toning (most prominent to the tissue guards) and scattered foxing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book has beautiful black and white plates - full page illustrations in photogravure. The plates are haunting landscapes that are particularly striking. Dimensions approximately 26.2cm x 16.8cm x 2.3cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
