The book is bound in green cloth over bevelled boards, with gilt floral decoration to the front and lettering to the spine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eExternally the book is in very good condition with wear and crushing to the corners - the top corner of the back board has a split in the cloth. There is heavy foxing to the text block edges and two detached plates stick out from the edge of the text block. The spine shows faint rubbing and marking, whilst the spine ends are crushed. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there are two detached plates and a name plate glued to the front pastedown - this has left an offset impression to the adjacent page. There are cracks to the hinges and tanning to the free endpapers. The pages show light age toning and heavy foxing throughout. There is some writing in the margins where a previous owner has dated when they saw each plant. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book features beautiful colour plates which add to the charm of this antique flower book. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 22cm x 14.3cm x 5cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
