It's in very good condition with the most noticeable flaw being the sunning to the spine. Crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting in the cloth. The corners are worn and slightly bumped and there is minor marking to the back board, with some scuff marks in the cloth. The board edges show light shelf wear and bumping. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, the hinges are cracked, revealing the binding webbing beneath. The pages are clean and bright with light age toning and sporadic foxing. There are occasional age stains.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAndrew Lang, with the publisher Longmans, Green and Co, selected and edited twenty five collections of stories that were published within fourteen years. They proved popular when they were released and they have survived the test of time to become sought after editions for collectors. The antique editions are known for having beautiful and decorative covers (like this one!). He began with The Blue Fairy Book in 1889 and ending with The Strange Story Book in 1913.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.
