So the book is from the latter part of the Victorian era. It was part of the Cranford series - books bound in teal cloth, with elaborate gilt decoration. They've become popular with modern day collectors, in part because of Bookstagram. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is in very good condition, but does show a slight forward lean, with minor marking and scuffing to the boards. There is some rubbing to the gilt on the front and dulling to the gilt on the spine. Crushing to the spine ends has caused minor splitting and loss to the cloth. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, the pages are clean and bright with light age age toning and occasional foxing throughout. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 18.5cm x 12.8cm x 2.2cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
