She was a particular champion of Darwinian evolution but focused more on the mind and morals, rather than competition and physical survival. She wrote multiple books for children, presenting scientific fact in a story book setting, much like a mother educating her children.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is bound in green cloth and feature stunning decoration blind stamped in gilt and black to the front board and spine. All edges gilt. Externally, it's in very good condition with just a slight forward lean to the book and light wear to the corners. The boards are still bright but there is some sunning to the spine and crushing to the spine ends. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, a previous owner has inexpertly reinforced the hinges with glue. This makes them a bit stiff and you can just see the cracking to the hinges. The pages are clean and bright with occasional foxing and minor marking. There are also occasional cracks to the gutter but no loose pages. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book features beautiful black and white illustrations throughout. Dimensions approximately 18.7cm x 13.3cm x 2.8cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
