So the book is from the mid Victorian era. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book is bound in brown cloth with beautiful decoration in gilt and black to the front board and spine. All edges are gilt. It's in very good condition but there is some minor marking to the boards, including splash marks. There is faint sunning to the spine and light wear to the corners. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, there is cracking to the front hinge and at the gutter in places. The title page and frontispiece are a little loose at the bottom but the rest of the pages feel tightly bound. There is a presentation plate glued to the front pastedown. The pages show light age toning and occasional foxing but are otherwise clean and bright for their age. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book features beautiful full page black and white illustration plates. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 25.1cm x 19.4cm x 2.2cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
