It was published in 1779. It features five raised bands and gilt tooling to the spine. There is a gilt armorial device to the upper board and gilt gauffered text block edges. \u003cspan\u003eGauffering describes the act of applying a patterned decoration to the text block edges of a book. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's in very good condition with light marking and scuffing to the boards, with minor chipping to the front. There are the remains of a paper label to the spine. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, the endpapers are marbled and there is both an ink College stamp and the signature of Ellis Edwards on a blank preliminary page. There is another college stamp opposite the Contents page. The pages show heavy age toning throughout and occasional foxing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions approximately 17.5cm x 11cm x 3cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable.
