This beautiful edition of Seven Little Girls in Heaven was published by the A S Rouse. The book itself isn't dated but there is a written inscription inside dated 1905. So the book is likely to be from the Edwardian era.
The book is bound in green cloth over bevelled boards with pretty floral decoration to the front board and spine. It's in good condition but does show marking and discolouration to the cloth - there is a stain to the back board. The corners and board edges show light wear, and the spine is darkened.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the front free endpaper and the pages show occasional foxing.
Dimensions approximately 15.7cm x 12.7cm x 1.5cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
